Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 150 g butter

  • 120 g light brown sugar

  • 125 g self-raising flour

  • 30 g cocoa powder

  • 3 eggs

  • chocolate custard from other recipe, to top

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C Fan. Grease rectangular traybake tray.

  • Beat together your butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add in the flour, cocoa powder and eggs, and beat again until combined.

  • Bake in oven for about 20~28 min, avoid opening too soon, use skewer to check (but quickly).

  • Once baked, pour over the chocolate custard and allow to cool.
