Mulled Wine (from apples, somewhat trashy)

Ingredients

  • 500 ml wine (homemade; 750ml probs fine)

  • 2 apples (crab apples from garden). Cored and peeled using machine.

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 6 cloves

Directions

  • Put wine in saucepan.

  • Add apples.

  • Add maple syrup and ground cinnamon.

  • Add the whole cloves.

  • Heat to 70~80°C ish (NOT boiling) for a few tens of minutes.
