Mulled Wine (from apples, somewhat trashy)
Ingredients
500 ml wine (homemade; 750ml probs fine)
2 apples (crab apples from garden). Cored and peeled using machine.
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp maple syrup
6 cloves
Directions
Put wine in saucepan.
Add apples.
Add maple syrup and ground cinnamon.
Add the whole cloves.
Heat to 70~80°C ish (NOT boiling) for a few tens of minutes.
